Once a nursing station and now a charming b&b with many historical items throughout along with Peggy’s pictures of Nfld on the walls. A history of the home and Forteau was in each room for any interested guest. A ‘swan’ towel graced our comfortable bed. It was a good jumping off spot for going north to Red Bay and south to L'Anse Amour. Fortified with a good breakfast, served in an ornate dining room, we returned to Nfld.

We had such a wonderful experience at Nicolas' floating home! It was so cozy and we felt right at home. The fireplace kept us warm during the snowstorm that night and it was surreal how beautiful the view was during the winter. We cannot wait to come back during the summer and take advantage of the outdoors as well!

Chalets idéalement situés sur la baie de Bassin, avec un joli chemin d'accès à la plage de Sandy Hook. Les proprios, Dominique et Sébastien, sont tout simplement extraordinaires. Propreté impeccable et très bien équipés. Fortement recommandé.

Le versant de St-Donat est définitivement un endroit merveilleux.

Comment dire, nous sommes arrivés moi et ma copine au chalet et c’était l’entrée du paradis! La vu du Rocher Percé était splendide! Nous avions aussi tout pour cuisiner nous avons fait un magnifique souper fondu! D’ailleurs, nous étions vraiment bien positionné. Nous étions à 5 min de marche de tout! 5 min de marche du Rocher, 5 min de marche d’un magnifique parc et du centre ville ainsi que du quai, 5 min de marche d’une vu extraordinaire du Rocher aussi. Bref le chalet était vraiment charmant l’ambiance était extraordinaire et 2 nuits dans ce chalet a rendu notre voyage en Gaspésie vraiment des plus agréables d’ailleurs le prix était vraiment pas cher pour une superbe vu de ce genre et c’est sur et certain que nous allons retourner à ce chalet à notre prochain séjour en Gaspésie je recommande fortement ce chalet à tous ceux qui voyageront en Gaspésie!

This is our third year staying here, and will be returning! Private cabins with various bed arrangments to suit most families; pet friendly with a waver. All cabins have access to boat docks, a sandy swimming beach, sat tv(we have yet to need or use), individual fire pit and propane BBQ. Set on a quiet lake off of Highway 1; all cabins a feet from the waters edge. Fire wood and ice available for purchase on site. Owners are always improving and updating the cabins. Running water, power and septic system to all cabins!

Very nice cabins, lovely staff at the front office, and the kayaks are such a fantastic benefit. Already planning our week out next year

Beautiful area. Villa 18 is nice, clean and lots of room. Couches aren't real comfy. Table is great for big groups.But foresee bringing some of your own pots and pans and cooking utensils if you're planning on cooking your own meals
